Shortly after Cisco announced its intention to acquire Sourcefire, competitors began spreading FUD about Cisco’s intentions for Sourcefire products and technology. Finocchio Consulting was retained to help the Cisco acquisition team transition Sourcefire into the Cisco family. We collaborated closely with both Cisco and Sourcefire executives to ensure the messaging was on point and targeting the specific rumors being spread by the competition. We conceptualized, built, and directed a mini-portal, video, and mural to fight the FUD. When the site was live, it was promoted via social media on both Cisco and Sourcefire platforms. From initial pitch to go-live, Finocchio Consulting completed this project in just under 4 weeks, including filming and video editing.
