Overview

Finocchio Consulting is seeking a strategic and dynamic Communications Manager to join our specialized consulting team. This role serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on inclusion-related communications and works closely with leaders and teams across the client to ensure internal and external storytelling is aligned with company priorities.

The ideal candidate should be a leader and driver with the client team you will be working with. You will be expected to identify where holes and gaps exist, anticipate client needs, and actively make recommendations. In addition to being a well-rounded communications professional advising with confidence, executing with attention to detail is just as critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling and insightful content, including blogs, success stories, intranet, and website copy.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate communication plans and campaigns that align with the client's mission, priorities, and values.

  • Coordinate with teams across the enterprise to include communications, public relations, legal, marketing, and human resources on messaging development and alignment with company policies.

  • Collaborate with the internal go-to-market team on developing and promoting inclusive learning experiences to a global employee base.

  • Identify communication milestones and opportunities to author success stories.

  • Monitor and analyze emerging trends in inclusion and social impact to inform and elevate the organization’s communication strategy, ensuring all messaging remains relevant, timely, and industry leading.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on inclusion-related topics and messaging development.

  • Project manage multiple projects and campaigns for a variety of stakeholders with efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field

  • 8-10+ years of experience in a strategic communications role preferably in inclusion, human resources, organizational change, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience in crafting communications for inclusion-related initiatives

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts in a clear, compelling way

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a proven track record of executing successful communication campaigns.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • High level of cultural competency and sensitivity, with a deep understanding of issues affecting diverse communities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including senior executives, HR teams, and external partners

  • Proficiency in digital communication tools, AI tools, social media platforms, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Airtable experience a plus
